Presentations of Learning (POLs) are happening now. These are an important assessment piece and they give students another opportunity for self-expression, reflection and learning about public speaking. Thank you for giving them your attention.

The Parent Connection has a brief survey for all IA parents to complete. This information will help inform activities for next year. Your opinion is valid and important feedback. Follow this link to help them evaluate the year:

Speaking of surveys, our annual LCAP survey will go out this coming week. LCAP stands for Local Control Accountability Plan and is an important part of the funding accountability of a public school. We want feedback- the accolades, the ideas and the challenges. They help us know what our clients (that would be you) want. Please look for that email.

T-shirt sales will be happening Tuesday after school near the Kona Ice sales.

STEAM Magazine is an online magazine that discusses various aspects of science, technology,  engineering, art and math in an educational context.

Next weekend we have a 3 day weekend due to Memorial Day (no school Monday next week). Take some time to share with your children about this holiday. Here is a link that can help.
