Happy Mother’s Day, Innovations Families,

We are grateful that the IA mom’s out there decided to share the lives of their children with us and hope everyone had a great Mother’s Day mothering your kiddos.

Mavon Mason Follow Up
The craft fair organized by our very own Genia (with numerous volunteers) was a success. I got a great Mother’s Day gift for my mom and had the opportunity to support local businesses. A big thank you to all out there who came out to support as a vendor or as a customer. Genia did an astounding job and we are grateful for her presence at IA.

8th Grade Candle Sale
One of those vendors, our 8th graders, sold essential oil candles. The remainder of those items will be on sale this week. Check them out at dismissal.

It has been a busy few weeks and the end of the year is upon us. Our classes are testing and completing important work. Please do some mindful breathing with your children before dropping them off in the morning. We are all trying to stay calm and centered.

Music College Concert
If you are up for some music, this Wednesday six IA students are performing with Pam Miller’s music in a performance with students from other schools as well. The performance will be at Black Mountain Middle School’s Little Theater at 6:30 p.m..

Thank you for taking the time to listen to our news for the week. Have a good one.
