SIGN UP DEADLINE FOR CLASS is Sunday, January 8th, 2017

EMAIL to attend a free INSTRUMENT SAMPLING on January 5th at Innovations Academy 

Your child picks one instrument out of the following:

Band: Clarinet, Trumpet, Trombone, Bass Guitar or UBass

(For Band, other instruments are accepted with prior experience)

Orchestra: Violin, Cello

OR Ukulele Class: Ukulele

  • Music reading and instrument playing technique will be taught!
  • Students will study and perform a variety of exciting music for a June concert!
  •  Classes are designed to foster character building and social skills!
  • This is a CA standards based music class. Your child will gain real music playing and music reading skills that will integrate in other settings.

Location: Innovations Academy, Once a week until the school year ends

Time: 3:45-4:45PM Ukulele: Tuesday Band: Wed Violin/Cello: Thursday

Class Cost-$39/Hour Class + $30 Sheet Music/Materials Fee (One Time)

(In comparison, Private Lessons are typically $60-$90/Hour)

Ages of Students:  STRINGS/UKULELE: 3rd-8th grade, BAND: 4th grade & up

 

About Miller Music’s Program Instructor:

Pam Miller is a passionate CA Credentialed Music Teacher, who holds Bachelors Degrees in Music Education and Music Performance from The University of Arizona. She has 9 years of teaching experience with students of all ages, ALL instruments and has a natural gift for being intuitive about kids learning styles. Pam’s students, including several past IA students, can be found in honor bands and orchestras all over San Diego County. Pam is currently the orchestra director at Black Mountain Middle School.
