IA PC SCREEN FREE WEEK SCHEDULE:

Monday, April 30 (Picnic & Pitch, Hit and Run)

12:45 Picnic in the park behind IA (Spring Canyon Neighborhood Park)

1:30pm Pitch, Hit and Run (5 volunteers needed at 1pm to help Coach Curry)

 

Tuesday, May 1 (Kids Yoga, Tag, Wiffle Ball Tournament) 

3:30 Kids Yoga in the K/1 area lead by Teacher Assistant Morganne (1 volunteer)

3:30 Tag/Cherry Bomb in the 2nd Grade area organized by

Genia (1 volunteer)

3:30 Wiffle Ball Tournament on the field behind IA organized by Coach Curry (3 volunteers)

 

Wednesday, May 2 (Gardening with Mary and Cleaning Up with Jimmy)

3:30 Gardening with Mary in the IA Garden (1 volunteer)

3:30 Cleaning Up with Jimmy all over IA (1 volunteer)

 

Thursday, May 3 (Hike – South Poway Trailhead, Poway CA 92064)

3:45 Meet up with Betsy Schneider at the trailhead

4:00 Start hiking to the tunnels

PERFORMING ARTS PRESENTS…THE WIZARD OF OZ
Take advantage of the high quality performing arts offered at IA. This week’s performances of Wizard of Oz can be experienced for the insane price of $1. Reserve your tickets online today for this beloved classic and pay at the door. Space is limited due to the size of the MPR, so don’t delay!

Performances are May 3rd, 4th and 5th at 6pm and a 2pm matinee on Saturday May 5th.

CRAFT FAIR….MAY 12TH AT IA….SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS
We are 2 weeks away from The Parent Connection’s Mavon and Mason Craft Market (Saturday, May 12th) at IA in conjunction with the SR Farmer’s Market. There will be vendors from IA and from the craft community at large. Please help make this a success by sharing the event in other communities to which you belong as well as coming to the event and bringing friends and family. Thank you for the support.

IA CARNIVAL ON MAY 10TH
8th grade will host “The Atomic Comic Carnival and Dance”, on Thursday, May 10th from 4-8pm.  Come as your favorite comic character, or just your regular self!  There will be games, bounce houses, dancing, food and more!  A detailed flyer with dates and pricing will be coming your way soon so save the date on your calendar  All IA families are welcome, including graduated alumni!  This will be an event to remember!

MATERIALS NEEDED…THANK YOU FOR YOUR DONATIONS
Niki needs empty water and milk gallon jugs for a mask project. Please wash milk containers  with soap and water before sending. Bring them into the front office or directly to Niki in room 803

FREE TRAVEL TRAYS FOR K-3
Though we did not make our goal, Travel Tray is donating $250 to IA and i
n support of our school and safety in auto transportation, they have decided to  donate one travel tray per K-3 student. Rob from Travel Tray will be on campus the week of May 6th. We appreciate their support.
