PORTFOLIO REVIEWS AND REPORT CARDS
Report Cards will be distributed to adults only this Friday. Please pick up your child’s report card after school in the classroom or with after care staff if your child attends after care.
Portfolio Reviews will be done for the first time ever this year. Portfolio Reviews will take place the week of February 6th – 10th. Students will have minimum days and parents will schedule to visit the classroom with their student to portfolio work looking for growth made this year. These are NOT student led conferences and you won’t be conferencing with teachers. The goal is to notice progress through a work review. Thank you for engaging in this exploration with us.
PERFORMING ARTS
Auditions for the play will take place after school tomorrow. If there is a huge storm, Natasha may consider postponing the auditions. If in doubt, contact the front office.
STEVEN SPIELBERG OPEN CASTING CALL
We received a call to our office that Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment is hosting open casting calls for the role of EDGARDO in the film, The Kidnapping of Edgardo Mortara. Online video submissions are also accepted. No acting experience necessary. There are NO fees to attend casting calls or to submit online. “EDGARDO” – BOY age 6-9. Unique & very challenging part for a truly special, gifted, curious & intelligent boy w/a mischievous streak who appears to be Jewish & Italian. Sun, Jan 29 / 10am – 5pm. FRIDAY PIZZA LUNCHES
Friday “Pizza Days” have been successful. A FEW IMPORTANT RULES you must know-
- ALL ORDERS MUST BE PLACED byMIDNIGHT THURSDAY.
- NO ORDERS CAN BE PLACED FRIDAY.
- ONLY CASH FOR ORDERS PLACED ONLINE WILL BE ACCEPTED ON FRIDAY. (Pizza orders are made Friday before school begins, and sadly we have had weeks where many last minute orders (cash) was brought Friday for younger students which left some students in the older grades (second lunch period) without pizza which they had ordered online. Please remember to place orders for Pizza before Friday. No exceptions.
