Welcome to the 16-17 school year! We are excited to get it going. Teachers begin back for professional development on August 15th and school begins for students on August 29th. The following are IMPORTANT information items including some changes that are important to know.
- You should have received your enrollment link in an email. Please complete the online packet, print out and sign the registration confirmation page and bring it to the Back to School Open House or on the first day of school.
- The first day of schoolis MONDAY, AUGUST 29th. Innovations Academy makes every effort to follow the calendar of our authorizer, San Diego Unified. That is why we begin before Labor Day this year.
- BACK TO SCHOOL OPEN HOUSEtakes place Thursday, August 25th from 5:00-7:30 p.m. It is an open house format so come and leave at your leisure. There will be information about extended care, classroom assignments, after school classes, enrollment and opportunities to meet the teachers.

- If you are a new family and you have not attended aNew Parent Information Session, please attend the session on Thursday, August 25th during Back to School Open House, from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

- Our new school hours are:
o Mondays: 8:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
- Tuesdays-Fridays 8:45 a.m.- 3:15 p.m. 1st-8th grades
- Tuesdays-Fridays 8:45-2:15 for Kindergarten
