There will be no hot lunches this week. Please send your child to school with a lunch and snack the whole week.
Boxes Needed
Next year we are adding another 3rd grade and another 8th grade. This means that a few teachers will be switching classrooms. If you have good moving boxes that you can share with us, please bring them to the front office.
Lost and Found
Please come by the Lost and Found to check for missing items before Friday.
Yearbooks
Yearbooks are in the front office. They will not be handed out to students unless accompanied by a permission slip from a parent. Parents can sign out the yearbook starting Monday. There are a few yearbooks that can be purchased on a first come first serve basis. Bring cash or check to get yours! For questions, email Kiersten@innovationsacademy.org
Second Grade Salad Bar and Food Tasting
Ali’s 2nd grade class is hosting a salad bar on June 14th and June 16th from 3:15 – 4:00. It will be near the kindergarten gate. The 2nd graders have been growing vegetables and visiting professionals to learn about the process of our food from farm to plate. Everything will be free, nut-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, and organic! Donations for the IA garden will be appreciated.
On June 14 and June 16 Kat’s 2nd grade class will be conducting a Blind Taste Test: IA Garden Grown Vegetables vs Store Bought Vegetables.” We are going to ask you which one you like best and put the results on a graph. Please come to the front of the MPR between 3:15-4:00 to participate. Thanks for coming!
Report Cards
Portfolios will be sent home this week and Report Cards are given out on Friday. In order to receive the report card an adult needs to get it from the teacher directly. All report cards not collected will be stored in the front office for pick up at a later date.
