Today is Valentine’s Day and I hope you all experienced the love of family. You deserve it.

The 5th annual Family Dance was a tremendous success! Thanks to all who attended. It is always nice to see young and old dancing together and enjoying themselves. The photo booth was busy. Here is a link to the photos.

IA 8th graders win Scholastic Writing Competition Awards
The annual Scholastic Art and writing Contest is has announced winners. The jurists in this contest look for works that best exemplify originality, technical skill, and the emergence of a personal voice or vision. Each year approximately 300,000 entries are received and about 68,000 receive some sort of recognition in a variety of categories. Our 8th graders entered this largest and oldest art and writing awards contest in the country, and multiple students received recognition!

Kayla, Julia (two silver keys)
