School Photos
School picture order forms were sent home with students on Friday, November 6. Retakes will be Thursday, November 12. If you would like a retake for your child, please email Canela Photography at posoria@gmail.com with your child’s name and teacher’s name. Students who were absent during their scheduled picture day will have their pictures taken on November 12.
No School
There is No school this Wednesday, Veteran’s Day, November 11th
Thanksgiving break, Monday, November 23- Friday, November 27.
Keep Safe
The parking lot is still dangerous and we can make a difference by being aware. Please park your car in a marked stall if you intend to walk your child in or sit in your car after dropping or wait for your child in the car. The white zone is for loading/unloading only… not for parking and it is our responsibility to make sure our kids are in the safest environment possible.
Parent Connection
The Parent Connection will have their next monthly meeting on Wednesday, November 18th at 9:00 am in the Outpost Aftercare Room 802. Come join them for food, fun, updates on school activities and functions, and to find an opportunity to share your talents with the school.
Rubio’s Fundraiser
Our 5th grade students are asking you, the wonderful Innovations community to join them at Rubios (across the street from IA) on Friday, November 13th, 2015 for a meal-time fundraiser! Bring in your flyer, which you can pick up in the office, and eat with your family anytime betwee 2pm and close on Friday the 13th…our lucky day Rubios will donate 20% of all flyer proceeds!!! Enjoy a meal with friends or family and support IA!
T-shirts
Our 6th graders are currently engaged in a project working with senior citizens at Sunshine Care. Their research involves looking at how music impacts the brain of Alzheimer’s patients. They are raising money for mp3 players to give to their new friends through Tshirt sales. YOGA Classes
Our school psychologist, Cindy, is also a certified children’s yoga teacher. She will be teaching yoga classes on Mondays after school from 1-1:45 and Tuesdays before school from 8-8:45. More information can be found on the flier attached. There is limited space so register now.
