11/30/15 CHILI’S
Support our 4th grade by enjoying lunch or a fun family dinner at Chili’s (located off the 15 freeway on Scripps Poway Parkway) Monday, November 30th from 11am to 10:30pm!! Simply present a flyer or show the flyer on your phone when you dine and our 4th grade will receive 15% back to use towards overnight field trips. Look for the 4th graders who will pass out the fliers that Monday after school. Enjoy a night off from cooking and support field study learning. Download this flyer to your phone.
12/12/15 SCHOOL PERFORMANCE
On Saturday, December 12th IA School of Performing Arts will present the play A Christmas Carol. The students have been rehearsing for months and it is time to perform.
On the evening of the performance the Parent Connection will be hosting a Gala Reception for the school’s performance. Free refreshments will be available, along with music and a photo booth. The sale of small dessert bites will benefit the performing arts program. Mark your calendar and stay tuned for more information!
12/17/15 EXHIBITION NIGHT (which we consider as important as any other assessment or report card) is happening on Thursday, December 17th from 5-7:30. Please plan to attend and visit a minimum of 3 classrooms to support learning school wide. Our students will be ready to show you their project work and answer your questions.
AN IA Family Needs Your Help
A member of our IA family, Inma Carrion, mom to first grader Tomas, is on hospital bedrest with a high risk pregnancy. Her husband Juan and son Tomas could use some support from our community. A Meal Train has been set up to deliver meals to the family during this challenging time. If you are able, please sign up to bring a meal to the family through the link on our FB page or our website under the news tab. : https://mealtrain.com/0z8gq9 The family could also use support with playdates for Tomas and nanny recommendations. They will also take other baby boy donations, as the 6 year time between children has left them with many “gaps” in supplies. Innovations Academy T-Shirts and Sweatshirts for sale (Doubles as a 5th grade Fundraiser)
Our fifth grade class is excited to offer you the chance to purchase your own IA t-shirt and sweatshirt!
IA t-shirts/sweatshirts have a small IA logo on side chest and back, and come in adult, women, and child sizes.With a variety of sizes and colors, you will find what you need.
T-shirts are $15 (2XL-4XL + $3). Choose from 3 exciting colors: Teal Blue, Charcoal Grey, or Royal Blue.
Sweatshirts are $25 (adult sizes +$5) with your choice of Bright Blue, Charcoal Grey, or Kelly Green.

Clearing out GIFT CARDS
We are cleaning out our stock of gift cards from past sales. Stop by after the break and pick up a gift card for the holidays. There are too many varieties to list in the call, but check the website and our FB page for details. We have everything from iTunes to Bath & Body Works to Von’s and Subway. Do you need food, clothes or treats? Think of us first.
