This is it…our last week of school for the 2014-15 school year. It was a pleasure working with and learning alongside your children this year. On behalf of the staff of Innovations Academy, I would like to thank you for trusting us to be an integral part of your child’s year. There are few announcements this week. Yearbooks
There are a limited number of yearbooks still available for purchase, The price is $20.00 cash or check. They are in the front office.
End of the Year Activities
Look for the teacher and room parent emails regarding end of the year parties and POL schedules, as well as graduation information for our 8th graders.
Help Your Child Stay Connected This Summer
Human beings are social beings. Your child deserves to feel connected in every community to which they belong: church, neighborhood, school, sports, dance and other club activities as well. As a charter school with students attending from all over San Diego, this is especially important. If your child does not regularly play with friends from school, it would help them that they begin to do so. Since this is the last week of school, help your child with these connections by gathering phone numbers and emails of those in their classes so that you can help them arrange get-togethers over the summer. Contact teachers or the front office and we can help.
