Testing

Our students are still in the process of completing the new statewide computer based assessments. You have all been sent emails with the testing dates by our front office. Please do everything you can to have your children to school every day on time.

 

The IA Art Experience will showcase art from our students this year. Our whole school play and art exhibition, plus food trucks and fun will be happening all in one amazing evening: May 7th. Please mark your calendars. Natasha is currently in need of some props for the play, “And Then There Were None,” by Agatha Christie. If you have any of the following, please email Natasha@innovationsacademy.org to make arrangements for a loan. Thank you for your help.

Also, Niki, our art teacher, needs help getting artwork organized. Please email Niki@innovationsacademy.org if you can come in to help on May 1st.

 

Vision & Hearing Screenings by the school nurse

  • May 12 and 13for grades K, 2, 5, and 8
  • Color Blindness screening for 1st grade boys

Cody’s Keyboard Club Friday 3 hour classes

  • Cody’s Keyboard Club is offering 3-hour sessions on Friday May 1, May 8, and May 15 ($72 for all three)  See attached flier

Communication

Communication happens in a variety of ways at IA.  Please take advantage of these sources.

  • Teachers send out an email per week
  • Room parents in some classes send an additional email
  • I send the Sunday call with an accompanying email and it is posted to the news tab on our website

You are welcome to come in and see work in the classroom.
