Good Evening, Innovations Community,
Welcome to a week that is all about Spring cleaning.
- We have had an ongoing lice situation this year and we have decided to take care of it once and for all. So this Wednesday we are having a professional come and check everyone on campus. If any child is found to have lice, we will be sending them home with instructions about how to take care of the issue. Our school will be cleaned in the evening as well. Please be ready and willing to support our community by doing your part if your child is found with lice. In order to return to school, a child will be checked once again to make sure they are clear.
- The 8th graders are planning for a rummage sale and need your gently used items to be donated this week. Please bring all items into school this week.
- And if you are cleaning your bookshelves, the 6th graders are having a book sale. Why not donate books early in the week and then come and get new ones on Friday at the book sale.
This Wednesday at 9:15 there will be a reflection meeting for the school dance. Come meet and share your feedback.
Our next Exhibition Night is Thursday, March 26th. Please mark your calendars now. At a project based learning school, exhibitions are significant in the learning process. We expect 100% attendance. Bring neighbors, friends and family. This is the place our students demonstrate their learning.
IA is hosting an Intergenerational Earth Day on Thursday, April 9th from 9:30am-1:00pm . All of our students will participate. If you would like to volunteer or to have more information, please contact Beth@innovationsacademy.org
And finally, March 21st is the San Diego Science Festival https://www.lovestemsd.org/
