There are three important action items for you this week and three messages:

1)    If you have not picked up your child’s report card, please get it directly from the teacher as soon as possible at drop off or pick up. If your child is in after care, please let the teacher know to give the report card to Candy in the aftercare program and she can pass it on to you. Report cards must be given to an adult.

2)    It is that time of the year when we are doing our lottery for next year. We need to know if your child will be returning. This helps us during the lottery process. It is of utmost importance to us that you be honest and share your intentions for next year. If there is any possibility of moving, military or job transfers etc, please communicate the maybes as well. Your information is used to develop class configurations, designate teachers to grade levels etc.

Here is the new 1516 Intent to Reenroll Form. With the exception of the 8th graders, all families need to complete this and return it to the office by this Friday, February 6. You can walk it in or you can email it to Donna@innovationsacademy.org.  If you have an incoming kindergarten sibling, you need to submit an online application for that child at  http://innovationsacademy.org/admissions/application-form/ The sibling is not subject to the lottery, but Donna needs to have the completed application to hold the space.

If you are not able to print the form, copies are available in the office. Please stop in before this Friday. It is also found under the news tab for today’s message.

3)    I mentioned in the last email that LCAP is the Local Control Accountability Plan for each public school in California. I need family input
