Good Evening, Innovations Families,
Halloween is right around the corner. It is an exciting holiday for many children. At IA We are privileged to experience diversity of culture, religion and background in our very own community and we respect and embrace each one. Costumes we see in stores at Halloween can sometimes suggest attitudes that reinforce stereotypes, mock or mischaracterize a culture, a specific group or a religion. We are asking students to refrain from dressing up in costumes that marginalize any one culture, race or ethnicity.
Speaking of Halloween, Give to IA by purchasing your costume online. 15% off Halloween costumes this weekend and 15% goes back to the school for all orders. See website for details.
Thank you to the Odegards for their work as the traffic monitors.Traffic runs smoothly with their assistance.
