Teacher Appreciation is on Tuesday, May 6th at school. Please do NOT feel obligated to make any purchases. I encourage you to support your child in expressing gratitude for the service of our teachers by making a card, picking a flower and bringing it or by simply saying a special thank you for the time and energy they dedicate to their class. This is how we truly appreciate others.
We are all working hard at IA to finish the year strong. We are also working hard on enrollment for next year. I can’t express strongly enough how important your honesty is to us. I am hearing rumors about moves and school changes for students who have said they are returning. We are turning away students who will then enroll in other schools. If you subsequently make changes in schools we are left with less money for our students. Please communicate your intentions. Even if you think a move might be in your future, it would help us so that we can communicate a possible opening for next year and keep a potential student where we would lose one. Once again, this is crucial to our funding and teacher assignments. It is important that we have accurate info. Please communicate this week if you have had changes or are thinking about making changes in schools.
