News for the Week
Our Annual Family Dance is taking place this FRIDAY. If you have not purchased tickets you need to do so right now on our website. See the payments tab in the upper right corner of the home screen. Dinner is included so we need all of the ticket orders to be placed by Tuesday, April 8th. If you can possibly volunteer, please do so by emailing IAParents@innovationsacademy.org. If you have any questions, call the front office. Ticket includes dinner and fun is had by all.
Have you heard about the ST MATH program? We have been doing it for awhile with grades 1-8. Follow this link to read an article that gives a lot of information about it.
Congratulations to our volunteer nominee for the donornation volunteer contest! The voting has officially begun and I would like to encourage each of you to vote for the Innovations Academy volunteer:
There is an informational screening on Sunday, April 27th at Scripps Ranch High School about sudden cardiac arrest in young people, especially athletes. The free screening will take place at the event for all students 13 and above. Heart screenings consist of an EKG. The tests given are not part of standard well-child checkups or sports physicals. Parents get a copy of their teen’s EKG to follow up with their own family doctor as needed. see flier HeartAssociationTeens4.27.14
And finally a reminder that there is NO SCHOOL for students tomorrow due to our planned professional development day. We look forward to seeing everyone Tuesday morning.
Thank you and have a great evening.
