We are ready to jump back into our projects and other learning adventures. Please take a few minutes to go to our website and check the class digital portfolios on which you will find information about upcoming school work, field trips, speakers and events.

Family Dance. Each class will be building a basket of items with a theme to be auctioned at the family dance on April 11th. Some of our 6th grade students are collecting school supplies to send to Cambodia as part of their “No Human Right Left Behind Project”  If you have any extra supplies around your home, please take them to the front office or the 6th grade classrooms (603/604).

One aspect of project based learning is critical thinking. This is an invitation to you to create at least one critical thinking interaction with your child this week. Take a critical look at a television or radio commercial as you go about your morning or evening. Answer a few questions with you child: What is being sold? Separate the facts from the opinions in the advertisement. What technique is being used to influence the consumer? How effective do you think this technique is? How do you feel about this product?

Thank you for engaging with this information and have an exciting week.
