Wohoo and welcome back from your Thanksgiving break! I hope all of you feel relaxed and ready for the next three weeks of fun. Our students will be completing their current projects and preparing for exhibition night, Dec. 19th. We expect all parents to attend with their children. Project Exhibitions are more significant to us than report cards. They are a way for you to see and hear your child’s learning experience through their eyes and their work. Presentations will take place between 5-8 p.m. Please reserve the time and clear your schedule.
Also during the next 3 weeks our students will be completing the measure of academic progress basic skills test. This will give our teachers a bit more data to utilize in planning their second semester. We were unable to give the MAP test earlier in the year due to internet connection issues that have now been resolved.
Our scholastic book fair will take place the week of December 16th -20th.
Gift card sales by the parent association will take place all week Dec. 2-6
This week the K-1 will be collecting funds for replenishing their garden boxes with the goals of sprucing up the playground garden boxes and adding more plants that will attract butterflies and hummingbirds.
If you are ordering lunch for this week, the form is live. If you know you will be ordering multiple lunches during the next three weeks, it would help us if you order all at once, due to paypal costs.
Please read the updated digital portfolios.
Thank you for reading and have a great week!
