This year Malashock Dance will provide our K-5 students access to Math in Motion, a 10 week dance program that addresses the common core standards for Math using dance. A big thanks to Malashock for including Innovations Academy in the grant application so that our students can benefit from an arts-math integration.
Please read the teacher digital portfolios for this week here. You will get iinformation about each class on the DP’s each week. Staying aware of what is happening in your child’s class is very important.
A few reminders:
1) The message that goes out each week will be on the website under NEWS
2) Mandatory parent meetings are scheduled for the following days and times. Please designate someone from your family to attend and communicate back the important information that is shared.

Thursday, September 26th 2:30-3:30 p.m.
3) The lunch program is going fairly smoothly. We could use some help from middle school parent volunteers because those classes will benefit from the funds raised by the lunch program. If you can help between 11:30 and 1:30 any day of the week, please contact Christine@innovationsacademy.org
4) Before school enrichment classes will begin next week. If you are interested in having your child take Spanish, Dance and/or Music, please contact those folks at:

BoardInnovations Academy Board meetings are held on campus monthly. The next board meeting will be held on September 24th at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome.
