Welcome Back To A New School Year!
Tomorrow will commence our school year. We are excited to create a space where high quality meaningful academic learning and deep social connections are fostered.
MANDATORY PARENT MEETINGS
It is important for us to function as a support team for the learning to be optimum. In order to do this, communication must be effective. It is mandatory that you attend one of the following informational meetings. For your convenience, we have scheduled them at different times to accommodate different schedules.
Tuesday, September 10th 6-7 p.m.
Wednesday, September 11th 9-10 a.m.
Tuesday, September 24th 5-6 p.m.
Thursday, September 26th 2:30-3:30 p.m.
LUNCH:
1) We have a new lunch program this year. We have partnered with Rubio’s, Subway, PickUp Stix and Costco to provide lunch for those who choose not to bring a sack lunch. The lunch form is on the home page of our website in the upper right corner in the quicklinks. It is important to remember we can NOT accept payment or orders in the front office ever for any reason. You will, however, be allowed to purchase lunch up until 9 a.m. each day online.
2) Remember you can always bring lunch. We have microwaves on campus to heat up healthy leftovers and each child will be asked to have a plate, cup, fork and spoon on campus to use as needed. Please keep in mind that we are going green this year. It will be a challenge but the outcome of supporting our planet is worth the effort. We are modeling for students that doing the right thing isn’t always the easiest. All students are being asked to bring a lunch with as close to zero waste as possible. We will have students take their trash home with them so that all items can be most effectively recycled and reused.
DROP OFF/PICK UP
Parent volunteers will be present to help direct traffic in our parking lot this week. Please remember that curbside drop off and pick up is allowed only by the white curbs. The red curb is a fire lane and there is no stopping any time. If you want to walk your child to class, please park your car in the parking lot. Gates will be locked promptly at 9:00 a.m.
ENRICHMENT CLASSES
