I moved to San Diego from the Inland Empire in 2018 and can’t imagine myself being anywhere else. I graduated from UCSD with a bachelor of science in human development with minors in psychology and multiple subjects education. I began my journey at IA in 2021 as an intern for kindergarten and performing arts through my education program at UCSD which led to the opportunities to work as a T.A., substitute teacher, and now classroom teacher! I instantly fell in love with the school’s philosophy on education and the welcoming community. I am extremely passionate about early childhood education and creating learning spaces for all students to explore, learn, and create through hands-on experiences. Outside of education, other passions/interests of mine include musical theatre, figure skating (I was a competitive figure skater for over 10 years!), reading, all things Disney, and playing with my dog Lexi. I am ecstatic for another amazing year in fifth grade with the best teaching partner ever!
