Hi everyone! I’m so excited to be teaching 3rd grade this year at IA! Back in the day I thought Art was going to be my path, so I have a degree in graphic design and one in art history. However, I realized teaching was my passion and completed my credential program at San Diego State University and a master’s program through Western Governors University. 

 

When I’m not teaching, I’m spending time with my husband and two kids. We love hiking, swimming, playing games, building Legos, and traveling. I also enjoy reading and taking care of our animals (chickens, ducks, and dogs). 

 

I look forward to creating a caring community with the third graders where we can rely on each other and encourage each other to dream big. It will be so exciting to see what these learners can accomplish!
