Hi! My name is Makenna George and I am excited to be teaching at IA again this year in Kindergarten! I moved to San Diego from Dallas, Texas last year where I also taught Kindergarten for four years! I am passionate about early childhood education and the magic of Kindergarten! 

I was born and raised in Seattle, WA and I graduated from the University of Mississippi where I danced on the Rebelettes dance team. I have a strong passion for dance, music, performing, and of course college football! But nothing is more fulfilling than being a teacher and developing relationships with my students!
