Hello IA Family, d Leadership. 

My name is Johnathon Flowers but everyone just calls me Flowers. I am excited to continue my teaching career at IA and settle into my life here in San Diego. I earned my B.A. in History and Social Studies Credential at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. After graduation I moved to Madrid, Spain to teach English for a year before moving back to San Luis Obispo to teach Middle School Social Studies anIf you asked my students one word to describe me they would simply say LOUD. 7th grade is my favorite age to teach and I am looking forward to integrating the Language Arts curriculum into the excitement of a History classroom. 

My amazing girlfriend Cayla moved to San Diego in 2022 and after visiting the past two years I knew I had to move here. I am looking forward to better surf and more sunshine.
