Hello! My name is Emily Waterbury, and I am so excited to start my first year at IA! I am beginning my 6th year as an Education Specialist, previously teaching middle and elementary school special day classes in Los Angeles. I grew up in Woodland Hills, CA, and was heavily involved in sports and extracurriculars as a kid, and I still am to this day. I received my Bachelor’s degree at San Diego State University in Liberal Studies, emphasizing elementary education, and my Masters’s degree in special education at National University in La Jolla. I love to cook, write, hike, and learn new things in my free time. You can often find me at the beach or hiking with my dog, Harley.
