Hello Families!

My name is Maria and I am excited that this year will be my 7th year at Innovations Academy. I have worked as a 5th grade and 2nd grade teacher’s assistant and am very excited to begin my 2nd year  as an education specialist! I can honestly say that working at Innovations Academy has really helped me discover how much I really enjoy working with children and helping them build on their natural love of learning. I grew up in Orange County, CA. I graduated from California State University San Marcos in 2020 where I earned my bachelor’s degree in child and adolescent development. I am  participating in the High Tech High district  intern program. When I am not at school I love exercising, running, and reading. I also enjoy watching a good ole ball game at the ballpark. I love spending time with my family and friends.
