Hi! I’m Maddie Squire, and I’m excited to join the Innovations Academy community as a fifth grade teacher. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in History with an Honors minor in Interdisciplinary Studies, as well as a Master’s degree in Teaching and my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.
Before joining Innovations Academy, I spent six years teaching fourth and fifth grade in the Bay Area. After recently moving from the Bay Area to San Diego, I am thrilled to become part of the Innovations Academy community. I am passionate about creating an engaging, student centered classroom where every child feels supported, challenged, and inspired to learn. I believe strong relationships, curiosity, kindness, and collaboration are the foundation of a successful learning environment.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading, traveling, exploring San Diego with my husband and our dog, trying new recipes, and staying active. I am grateful to be part of Innovations Academy and look forward to partnering with students and families for a wonderful school year!
