Hello! My name is Katelyn Zegas. Living in San Diego while being a teacher has truly been a lifelong dream of mine. I am so excited to be a part of Innovations Academy’s community. I graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder and then moved from Denver, Colorado, where I taught third grade for three years. I love working with children, and I find myself so lucky to be in a career where I smile and laugh every day! I can’t wait to watch your students grow and be a part of this journey.
Outside of school, I am a lover of anything outdoors. I enjoy running, being in the ocean, skiing, and really anything else in the sunshine.
