Hi! My name is Adrienne, and I’m so excited to be starting my second year at Innovations Academy! After a wonderful first year in San Diego, I’m looking forward to another year of learning, growing, and creating meaningful memories with our amazing third graders.
I’m originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from James Madison University. After graduating in 2019, I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer teaching English in Lesotho, Southern Africa, before returning to the U.S. to earn my Master of Education from Johns Hopkins University. Before moving to San Diego, I spent four years teaching third grade in Washington, DC.
When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll probably find me outside hiking, swimming, or soaking up the sunshine somewhere.
I can’t wait for another year full of curiosity, creativity, and connection. Here’s to an amazing school year!
