The lottery for the 2024-25 school year will be conducted in March 2024 and applicants will be notified via email.

General Information about Enrollment and Registration at I.A.

Accepted applicants will be notified by email. Once your child has been accepted to Innovations Academy, parents/guardians must complete the new student registration and upload, email or deliver required documents within seven days of the acceptance email. If registration is not completed by the deadline, the space will be forfeited. A forfeited space will be treated as a new opening and will be filled from the official waiting list.

If the acceptance letter states that the applicant has not attended an new parent information session, the accepted applicant’s parent or guardian must attend an information session in order to complete the admission process.

Education Code 47605(d)(4) :

  • 47605(d)(4) and SB75 prohibit a charter school from discouraging enrollment or encouraging disenrollment of any pupil for any reason, and specifically for reasons based on academic performance, the pupil’s nationality, race, ethnicity, or sexual orientation, or because the pupil is disabled, academically low-achieving, an English learner, neglected or delinquent, homeless, economically disadvantaged, or foster youth. It also prohibits a charter school from requesting a pupil’s records or requiring a parent to submit the pupil’s records prior to enrollment in the charter school.
