Parent Connection

About the Innovations Academy ‘Parent Connection’

Mission Statement:

The IA Parent Connection (inclusive of all parents and guardians of students) works to connect all parents to each other and to the school, to enhance our children’s social, emotional, and educational experiences, and to raise funds for supplemental educational materials and experiences.  We offer families social interaction opportunities, and support teacher, parent, and administrative communications.

Next Parent Connection meeting will be held in October. Meetings are the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. Meeting information is sent out via ParentSquare.

  • Book Fair Coordinator

  • Communications

  • Grant Writing

Some other ways you can get involved:

  • Volunteering in the classroom or office
  • Assisting with classroom fundraising
  • Coordinating a class field trip
  • Coordinating a Class Guest Speaker
  • supporting production in after school performing arts
  • Gardening volunteer
  • Parking Lot Safety
  • Campus Safety
  • Welcoming Director
