Weekly News 4/5/15 – 4/11/15

I hope you had a lovely Spring break. Here is some important information for the week:

There is NO SCHOOL tomorrow, Monday. It is our staff development day. We look forward to seeing your children on Tuesday morning at our regular start time.

Thanks to all who attended the Innovations Exhibition Night. It was a special night for our students who proudly shared their learning.

This Thursday Innovations Academy is sponsoring an Intergenerational Earth Day from 9:30-12:30. All students will be participating in activity stations around the school. Lunch will be provided to all students for FREE from Von’s. If you would like to volunteer or have any questions, please email Beth@innovationsacademy.org. A separate email will go out tomorrow with details and there is a flier on our website home page in the slider.

As director of Innovations Academy I am responsible for culture, pedagogy implementation, outcomes for students and much more. Some wonderful parents have asked that I make myself available since I do have a busy schedule. So, starting next week, I will set aside the following times to meet with anyone who wants to come. Monday mornings from 9:00-10:00 and Tuesday evenings from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Please know that your children are the most important part of our school and anything I can do to help you feel a part of their education is important to me. Stop by sometime.
