Family Dance Tickets are now available on our website. The dance is super fun and will take place on March 6 from 6-8 p.m. on our campus.

Do you have a connection to an car dealer or a business that is looking for marketing outreach or willing to provide philanthropic support  for schools? We are looking for connections to help us as we seek to acquire transportation for our 140+ fieldtrips taken each year.  If you have an idea or a possible connection or lead, please email beth@innovationsacademy.org

Have you heard that Balboa Park is having a STEAM Family Day? It will take place on Sunday, March 15th from 11-3. Another event to share is the MathAlive interactive exhibit at the San Diego Air and Space Museum. It will be there until September of this year.

I am currently sharing information about our school with prospective families. As I do so I am reminded of the importance of school choice. We hear from our graduated 8th graders about the numerous skills and knowledge that they obtained at IA and feel have helped them be successful at the variety of high schools they have chosen to attend. We receive feedback from our professional guest experts that our students impress them with great questions, true wonder and solid information. I know it is difficult to be a part of a movement that challenges the educational myths that abound in our culture. We are confronted by neighbors, friends and sometimes family members who come to us out of fear and lack of understanding. If you ever need support in these challenges, please come in and visit with me (Christine). It is never easy to take the lead and often hard to do the right thing, but I am proud that we are doing just that and I hope you are, too. Have a great week.
