Welcome back from, what we hope was a relaxing week for all families,

Giving is an important part of all of our lives. Some current opportunities to be of service to others follow. I hope you can participate in supporting us to support others:

  • new and gently used  clothing for 0-12 month olds & new board books through Gently Hugged. (Sally’s 6th grade)
  • new children’s pajamas  through Scholastic Pajama drive with matched books by Scholastic (Alicia’s class) http://www.scholastic.com/pajamadrive/
  • canned food  for  SD and Poway Food Banks (IA school drive)

Innovations Academy is participating in the STEAM Maker Festival at the Del Mar Fairgrounds next Saturday from 10-5. STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. Our teachers have put together an engaging booth representing our project format and hands on philosophy.  If you have a 5th through 8th grader that would like to participate in managing our booth, please email Beth@innovationsacademy.org with your child’s name. 6th grade performances of Greek Mythology will take place this Thursday (12/4) during the school day and in the evening. Come out and see our artists at work.

Sally’s Class at 10:00 a.m. and 6:45 p.m./ Michael’s class at 11a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

This is a reminder that all students in grades 1-8 have access to ST MATH for learning. at home. All students should be completing time at home. Check your teacher’s emails and digital portfolio for specifics. Grades 3-8 also have Touch, Type, Read and Spell and middle school students have access to MathXL at home. This can be done on your family’s schedule during the week.
