Weekly Information 9/14/14

Information for the week of 9/14/14

OPEN FULL DAY TOMORROW
Innovations Academy will be open for a full school day tomorrow. We have air conditioning and will keep the kids indoors as necessary for their safety and well-being.

YOUR FAMILY FIELD TRIP
The Library System is a great resource for families. I would like you all to have a homework assignment. Now, calm down, I know homework is not something we do at IA…but this will help you set a goal and accomplish it.

Sometime in the next 2 weeks, take your child to the public library that you consider your neighborhood library. Ask what services, classes, speakers etc that they offer. Teach your child to use the library as a resource for learning.

Thank you for your help. Together we can help our students become connected to the resources they can access.

BEFORE CARE
A reminder that our Before School Care needs your care and attention. For details see below but be aware that students of all grades need to sign in if they are onsite before 8:45 and shouldn’t be on campus before 8:45 unless they are registered for a morning class, registered in before care or have an appointment with a teacher.
