TK is a former telecommunications engineering and management executive with AT&T, Linkabit, Digital Switch Corporation, UCSD, and Qualcomm. As co-founder of Elevate Elementary, TK served as Chairman of Elevate School, which received the California Distinguished School designation in 2018 and the National Blue Ribbon School award in 2021.
TK served on the Tierrasanta Community Council as Commercial Director, is past President of the Tierrasanta Foundation, and currently serves as CEO of San Terra Properties.
TK has initiated, led, or directed significant contributions to San Diego public schools by reforming City of San Diego Municipal codes that removed costly regulatory burdens imposed on Charter school facilities, imposed term limits on San Diego Unified Trustees, and successfully passed ballot measures that restored voting rights to San Diego voters in school board races.
