Hi! My name is Jackie, and this will be my fifth year at IA! I am so excited to be teaching 3rd grade again and can’t wait for all the growth, adventures, and new things we will learn together this year.
I was raised in Denver, Colorado, but have loved calling San Diego home for the past six years. I have a bachelor’s degree in Human Psychology and a master’s degree in Elementary Education.
When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy cooking, baking, watching soccer games, and exploring San Diego with my husband, Jose, and our two boys, Liam (9) and Samuel (7). Some of my favorite hobbies include traveling, hiking, Muay Thai, and Jiu-Jitsu.
