Hello! My name is Jesse Speck, and I’m excited to join Innovations Academy as a Kindergarten teacher. This is my first year living in San Diego! I’m originally from the Chicago area and graduated from Iowa State University. I’ve taught 3rd grade and Reading/Math Intervention, but the majority of my eight years in education has been spent teaching Kindergarten in Des Moines, Iowa, and Chicago, Illinois.
I love traveling, being outdoors, and learning new hobbies. I’m passionate about creating a classroom where kids feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. I can’t wait for an incredible year at Innovations Academy!
