Hey y’all, I’m Skylar & I’m so excited to be back at IA for my 4th year as a TA. I come from a teaching family which inspired me to work with children, and I am almost done with my bachelor’s in early childhood education. Before moving to San Diego due to my husband’s job in the navy, we lived in Colorado where I worked as a special needs paraprofessional. I love getting to know the students every year and helping them learn.
When I’m not working at IA, I’m spending my time with my husband, our three kiddos and three dogs ( a dalmatian, a husky/aussie mix, and a golden) . You may see my golden retriever Marley around campus! I have a daughter (11) and twin boys (8)
Any chance we get we are either outside, exploring San Diego or traveling. I love doing anything creative, photography, gardening, baking, and being at the beach.
