I’m thrilled to be part of the IA team as your Speech-Language Pathologist! Originally from Virginia Beach, VA, I’ve been soaking up the sun in California for the past seven years. As a true beach gal, there’s nothing I love more than relaxing under an umbrella with my toes in the sand and a good book in hand.
Recently, I’ve been embracing a new hobby—hiking in “the hills”—alongside my amazing sister and my devoted, beast of a dog, Bear. I also enjoy snacking (who doesn’t?), movie nights, and traveling to exciting, exotic destinations with my family and friends.
After raising my three children, I pursued my passion for helping others through education. I earned my Associate’s Degree in Social Science from TCC in 2012, followed by a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2016, and my Master of Science in Education in 2018—both from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA.
Working with children brings me so much joy. I’m excited to create a warm, engaging, and supportive space where each child can learn to communicate with confidence, connect with others, and grow in an environment where learning and self-expression are celebrated. I’m looking forward to an amazing year ahead!
