Pledge Drive
The IA Fundraising Pledge Drive for this school year has officially begun. Check your child’s backpack for a blue brochure to learn about how we are raising money for enhancements to our art and science programs. This is the ONLY pledge drive of the school year. If your employer participates in donation matching you may be able to double your impact! There are extra Pledge Drive forms by the whiteboard at the front gate and in the front office.

Casting Call
One of our parents works in the media industry. His company is casting for photo shoot for a local lifestyle company. No experience necessary. They are looking for models: Kids, Boys & Girls ages 8-14 that are available on Oct 12-13, 2013 in San Diego, CA. This is a paid shoot and we will be requiring a photo release. Malashock Math in Motion Program
If your child is in the Kindergarten through the 5th grade they are participating in the Math in Motion integrated curriculum. They need to turn in the ReleaseMalashockDance. One can also be picked up in the front office.
Please HELP
We know you are all busy families. We also know that students whose parents get involved at their child’s school perform better in the school environment. Here are some ways that you can help the school and your child: PLEASE HELP
1) Green Apple Service Day…get out with Beth and work in the garden. Bring the kids. Next Saturday
2) volunteer one day a week in the lunch program. Set up, serve and put away. It is easy and fun to meet all of the students at lunch.
3) speak to your child’s teacher about other opportunities. email Beth@innovationsacademy.org or iaparents@innovationsacademy.org to find out how you can be of service to the school.
