PARENT CONNECTION FOR ALL – 1st meeting
The parent association, called PARENT CONNECTION at IA, is having their first meet and greet info session tomorrow right after drop off. Please come if you can. If you can’t make it but would like the information, do not fret, we are here for you. Email Bridget at we4marchands@gmail.com.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
- We could really use one lunch duty volunteer on Tuesdays from 12:30-1:15 for the 5-8 grade lunch. If interested, contact Donna or Christine in the front office.
- We will be scheduling our volunteer training for the Think Aloud Problem Solving student math coaches. If you have volunteered, thank you and expect an email this week. If you would like to volunteer, complete this form.
FREE PADRES TICKETS– First come, first served!
When: Saturday, September 23rd 5:40 pm game time
Where: Petco Park
Who: Padres vs Colorado Rockies
How: Coach Curry’s non-profit organization, Athletic Initiative, has reserved 100 tickets for IA kids to attend the game for free! They will go on a first come, first served basis! To reserve your tickets, please email the following info to April Curry:
*Name (your name)
*students name and grade
*# of tickets requesting
* number of adults/kids who will be attending
April will reply to your rsvp with additional info for the event and will start a wait list once the tickets are all accounted for.
Coach also has 50 FREE tickets for the Game tomorrow, Monday September 18, at 7:10 pm vs the Arizona Diamondbacks that just came available. If you’d like those, follow the same steps as above!
WHOLE SCHOOL DECEMBER PERFORMANCE
Auditions for Snow White were a great success and the show has been cast. If your child auditioned and you did not receive an email today, please contact Natasha.
Fundraiser – Also, if you have gently used Halloween costumes that you no longer need, the performing arts department is now accepting donations in preparation for their Halloween rent- event and they can take them off of your hands. The IA 3rd Annual Family Fun Night is coming. Please mark your calendars for Thursday, September 28th at 5:30 p.m. There will be music, dancing, etc. IF you have been wondering about how to connect with other IA families, this is one fun way to make it happen!
