Hello IA Families!
My name is Karla, and I’m thrilled to join the IA Special Education Team for the 2025–2026 school year as an Education Specialist! I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and my District Intern Credential through the High Tech Credentialing Program. I’m incredibly excited to start this new chapter with your kids and the amazing team here at IA.
Over the past 12 years, I’ve worked with children of all ages in various roles, including classroom aide, assistant counselor, tutor, and behavioral technician. For the past five years, I’ve had the pleasure of working at IA supporting middle school students. Helping students grow both academically and socially is something I truly love.
When I’m not at school, you can usually find me walking my dog at the park, sipping coffee, reading a good book, cooking something new, or hanging out with my family.
I’m looking forward to a fantastic school year full of learning, connection, and growth!
