Hello! My name is Christy and this will be my third year at Innovations Academy, and my 18th year teaching. Where does the time go?! I have my Master’s in Teaching and Curriculum and have had the privilege of working with grades K-8. I’m super excited to be teaching 5th grade this year!
I always knew I wanted to be a teacher and can’t imagine anything else. I’m always excited to learn new and innovative ways to teach and be part of a caring environment that cultivates learning for all. When I am not in the classroom I find peace in the ocean, excitement in hikes, and love adventures to new places and sights along the coast.
