CHARTER RENEWAL IA LOVE LETTERS- IMPORTANT

BOTBALL SEASON FAST APPROACHING- team info
Attention all 6th, 7th & 8th graders! IA will be starting its 3rd annual Botball Robotics Season and we’re looking for some team players who want to compete at a local and international level!! Specifically IA has competed previously at the regional level in San Diego, but this year we have the added bonus of being only a couple of hours away from the international tournament which will be in the Palm Springs area in July. Students will have  multiple opportunities to meet and interact with Botball students from all over the world as well as engage with scientists and engineers working in a variety of robotics related fields.

Prior experience in programming, physics, engineering, math and other STEM areas is helpful but not necessary. What is necessary is a desire to work collaboratively with different team members and to be willing solve some really cool engineering challenges! This year we are very fortunate to have a separate room for robotics and our informational meeting will be held there in room 804 this Thursday 11/14 before exhibition at 4:30. Both parents and students are encouraged to attend.

BASKETBALL TEAM

Our middle school basketball team will begin competitions with other middle school teams after winter break. Stay tuned for information.

LOST AND FOUND

The lost and found will be donated next weekend. Before leaving for winter break, be sure to check for lost jackets, sweaters, lunch items etc.
