Know Your Valley Scavenger Hunt 2010/11


During the 2009/10 Know Your Valley Scavengar Hunt, we raised over $3500 for Innovations Academy's Media, the Arts, PE, and Science (MAPS) Program.  This creative and community oriented fund raiser is a mutually beneficial event where we raise funds to support our MAPS program and local businesses receive much needed foot traffic and sales through advertising.  Parent volunteers can help by:

  • Buying ad space for their business.
  • Promoting the Scavenger Hunt booklet to local businesses and selling ad space.
  • Working on graphics and layout.
  • Donating funds to support printing costs.
  • Once booklets are produced sell them in the community (to people you know, or sign up to sell booklets at a near by.

Everyday Ways to Help

Innovations Academy can use the RASCALs' support every day. Here are some ways to support your teachers year round.

Donate to Innovations Academy.  In the Paypal message box, you can put if you'd like your funds to go to a specific class, program, activity, or general funds.

Make our Wish Come True!

You can make a valuable contribution by gifting us something from our Amazon.com wish lists. You can choose to make a gift to our general school wish list, or from the wish list specific to your child's grade:


Ongoing requests from our teachers and staff:
  • Small vacuums/dust busters
  • Lamps (for softer lighting in the classrooms)
  • Computers
  • Reams of Paper
  • White Board Markers
  • Toilet Paper/Tissue Paper/Paper Towel
  • Cleaning supplies (Windex, Scented Air Fresheners, etc.)
