Innovations Academy New Student Application

Innovations Academy's enrollment period is open through April 9nd, 2010. To be accepted into the lottery pool parents must fill in the application online (or submit one through mail) and attend a New Enrollment Information Session (see below for dates and times). A public lottery will be held on April 14th, 2010.  Parents will be notified by the end of April of acceptance or wait list status.

In addition to the New Enrollment Information Sessions, you may also join us on any of our Family Nights (the 2nd Thursday of each month from 5pm - 7pm.  Dinner at 5pm, events starting at 6pm) to meet IA families and get more info.

New Enrollment Information Sessions at Innovations Academy:

Thursday, January 28th, 2010 at 5:30 - 6:30pm.
Thursday, February 18th, 2010 at 6:30 - 7:30pm.
Saturday, March 20th, 2010 at 10 - 11am.

If you have missed the New Enrollment Information Sessions and wish to be in the public lottery you must attend a Coffee Connection (every Thursday from 9am - 10am) or speak with Donna (our Administrative Coordinator) about enrollment.

Program Options:

Innovations Academy offers a 5-day program for a full-time school opportunity. For independent study and/or home-schooled students, we offer 2-day and 3-day onsite programs. Please indicate which option you are interested in:

Full-Time:
Project Based Learning and M.A.P.S (Media, the Arts, PE, and Science) Program
3-day Onsite w/ 2-day Independent Study:
Project-Based Service Learning
The 2-day program is only for new enrolling 2nd - 8th graders.
2-day Onsite w/ 3-day Independent Study:
Home Learning Community

For independent study students enrolling in the 3-day and 2-day programs, students are expected to attend all of the 2 or 3 days of their programs.

If your student is waitlisted because your first-choice option is not available, we will contact you if you have the option of taking an open slot in another program.
